A call to repentance and submission to the sovereign authority of God to remain under his covering.

Church Leaders and Members of the Chaplaincy In The Uniformed Forces Display The Book : Under Cover by John Bevere.

Recently (3 March, 2026), CAVA & NBI hosted a mini book launch and distribution event for the influential Christian leadership book Under Cover by renowned teacher John Bevere.

The event brought together church leaders from various denominations as well as chaplains serving within Zimbabwe’s uniformed forces, creating a powerful moment of fellowship, leadership reflection, and spiritual empowerment.

The gathering highlighted the shared commitment among Christian leaders to strengthen biblical leadership principles across churches, ministries, and institutions.

A Unique Gathering of Church and Institutional Leaders

The launch event attracted a diverse group of participants including:

      • Pastors and ministry leaders from multiple denominations
      • Chaplains from Zimbabwe’s uniformed services
      • Ministry workers and Christian leadership trainers
      • Students and partners of CAVA & NBI

This diversity underscored the importance of unity in the body of Christ and the critical role of spiritual leadership in society. The gathering provided an opportunity for leaders to discuss the themes of biblical authority, leadership accountability, and spiritual covering, which form the core message of the book.

      • Training pastors and ministry leaders
      • Strengthening church leadership across denominations
      • Providing accessible Christian education and resources
      • Promoting discipleship and spiritual maturity

Through conferences, leadership training programs, and resource distribution initiatives, CAVA & NBI continue to equip leaders who can serve their communities with wisdom and integrity.

About the Book Under Cover by John Bevere

Under Cover by John Bevere is a globally respected Christian teaching that explores the biblical principle of spiritual authority and submission to God-ordained leadership.

The book teaches that understanding authority is critical for spiritual growth and protection.

Key lessons explored in the book include:

      • The purpose of God-ordained authority
      • The importance of honor and submission
      • The spiritual consequences of rebellion
      • How alignment with authority brings spiritual protection and growth

Through scripture-based teaching and practical examples, the book helps believers understand how honoring authority strengthens both personal faith and church leadership structures.

Generous Donation from John Bevere’s Ministry

The distribution of the books was made possible through a generous donation from John Bevere and his ministry, enabling leaders and believers across Zimbabwe to access the teaching. To ensure accessibility to a wider audience, the book has been translated into 135 languages worldwide and into 4 languages in Zimbabwe namely:

      • English
      • Shona
      • Ndebele
      • Chewa

These translations help remove language barriers and ensure that believers from different communities can engage with the message in a language they understand best.

      Strengthening Leadership Across Zimbabwe

The participation of chaplains from Zimbabwe’s uniformed services added a unique dimension to the event.

Chaplains serve an important role in providing:

      • Spiritual guidance
      • Counseling and pastoral care
      • Moral and ethical leadership within institutions

Equipping chaplains and church leaders with resources such as Under Cover strengthens their ability to serve people effectively and provide spiritually grounded leadership.

Building Stronger Communities Through Biblical Leadership

The mini book launch reflects CAVA & NBI’s ongoing mission to equip Christian leaders who can positively influence churches, institutions, and communities.

By placing transformational Christian resources into the hands of leaders, the institute continues to support the growth of biblically grounded leadership throughout Zimbabwe and beyond.
